Offered for sale is an 80mm x 910mm f/11.4 classic vintage Celestron C-80 refractor with the original 6x30 diagonally mounted finder with cross hairs intact, 1.25 focuser on the Vixen Polaris Celestron mount, with slow motion controls. This C-80 classic is supported by the older, longer Vixen wooden tripod legs with black storage tray. This unit includes a triangular shaped Vixen storage box with original Celestron lenses and accessories: 1.25 star diagonal, 6mm Ortho 11/4 & 25mm Kellner 11/4 optics. Further included are (3) lug wrenches, (1) larger bolt wrench, (1) large knob, (1) small knob, (1) Canon (AF) telescope adapter.

The optics in this vintage classic are excellent and this telescope is a beauty, never failing to draw a vast amount of attention at star parties. Condition: Very good; functions as it should, telescope body and mount have some sporadic scratches and a small area of flecked paint loss on the hood, no dents or dings, otherwise fine. As well, the tripod has some sporadic wear, minor indents at extremities, otherwise fine. All wear described is consistent with age and use, nothing unsightly.
