It has superb power and clarity delivered through precision coated optics in a beautiful low maintenance finish. The telescope separates from the base for easy storage. The lenses are are fully removable and are seated in solid brass. There is no plastic any where in or on this telescope.
It has been made using the same hand crafted techniques as the telescopes of old. Tube Length:27" - 28" Inches , Magnification:42 X , Height : 47 Inches. Material Used : Brass & wood.
Color:Nickel & Black tripod. This is a refractor telescope which means it delivers a clear upright image. Having 42x magnification they a perfect for over the water viewing, whale watching, cities and even the moon. The focus is adjusted by turning the wheel close to the eye piece.
They come on a beautifully grained hardwood stand that can be adjusted to any height required for comfortable viewing. The stand is fully mechanical with chains for superior stability.
