Vintage Camera Tripod Johnsons of Hendon Wooden Legs + Mount Antique Wood
Stunning vintage camera tripod by Johnsons of Hendon in good original condition. The wooden legs are all in great condition, the thumb screw clamps are all good, they tighten and release perfectly by hand, not seized or stiff in any way. The inner legs are metal with lawn spikes at one end and rubber stoppers at the other, one rubber is missing. One inner leg is slightly different to the other two as seen in the images. The top of the tripod features a camera mount, it all looks to be here. The wood has been treated with linseed oil, the metal parts have surface corrosion but are all solid. A great item for restoration but can be used as is with patina, great also for a search light to be mounted.
