Vintage Dietzgen Survey Theodolite/Transit with Wooden Tripod & Box-Serial 51737

  
Hello, thanks for checking out my listings! The theodolite itself appears to be in very nice condition, no cracked glass. And compass needle floats freely when released. Sight crosshairs appear to be fine. Unit does have the lens hood, but. The plumb bob is missing. Could use some more detailing. The tripod is in very good condition also. All hardware appears to be solid brass. I did note a couple of the very small brass screws that.

Hold the guide rings for the lower leg section are missing. Sorry, storage cap is missing. Storage box is in good shape, sorry, key for lock is missing. Please note that serial number has been painted on the box.

And also a control number from the university that used the unit. Please look over all the pics, if there is something you need. Clarified, please drop me a note. I acquired several of these from a university here in Illinois. And I will be listing them in the weeks to come.
