VTG ARRI BALL CAMERA HEAD With HEAVY WOODEN TRIPOD WEST GERMANY

  
Vintage ARRI BALL CAMERA HEAD W/ HEAVY WOODEN TRIPOD. Great vintage heavy duty tripod with Arri Ball Head. The ball head measures approximately 140mm across.

The head is an amazing heavy duty tripod, that needs some TLC to bring it back to full glory. The adjustment arm for the head is missing. The socket with heavy wing nut is 1/2 or 13mm in diameter. The small tension or locks work, but are missing the small ball heads. The circle level is in good shape.

The round unit on the side of the head appears to be damper for the head. The camera attachment knob is in good condition. The second threaded screw on the back of the camera mount platform does not go all the way through the plate.

The wooden legs show wear, but are strong and in good shape. The leg locks mechanisms work great. The legs have a brass scale along the side to show the length, they are are all complete, but do not lay perfectly flat. With legs collapsed the base of the head is approx 39 inches with legs closed. With legs extended the the is approx 62 inches.

Great used tripod that needs some TLC with cleaning and lubrication and replaced knobs at a very reasonable price. I have posted several pictures for your inspection & assessment. ATTENTION: I TRY AND DESCRIBE EVERYTHING TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE.
