Vintage Brass Theodolite on Wooden Extending Wooden Mahoghany Tripod. 47cm Unextended - Extends to 62cm (includes Theodolite). I cannot see a name on it unless it is on the compass. The Theodolite has been in my fathers loft since the 1960s as I understand it belonged to his uncle who was a surveyor. Condition - It is very very dusty, I haven't cleaned it so it should come up gleaming with a good clean. As far as I know there are 3 things that require attention as follows. One of the 3 milled screws that hold the wooden legs when extended does not hold the leg up (the other 2 do) it may be cross threaded.

Picture 11 shows a length of glass/mirror (approc 5cm long). Part of this is missing at one end. Picture 12 shows an eye glass it looks like there should be one at the other end also but if so this has broken off.

Other than the 3 things listed it looks complete and will make a very nice project for someone and once done should be worth substancially more than I have listed it for.
