Vtg Antique Cast Iron Tripod Base Industrial Drafting Table Adjustable Dietzgen

  

An old, industrial style drafting table! The tripod base (3 legs) looks like it has been painted at some point. I don't see a maker's mark, but this looks to be a Eugene Dietzgen piece.. Although I'm not certain!

Adjustable to be made taller and to adjust the direction/angle of the tabletop. Tabletop is wood with metal edges on shorter sides, it looks newer than the base. CONDITION: Acceptable condition for age. As noted, the base looks to have been painted at some point.

The adjustable points and knobs all move freely. There are spots of corrosion visible, mostly visible where there is paint loss.. I'm going to guess it was painted to cover corrosion from age. The tabletop has scratches, discoloration spots, scuffs, and just general wear all around.

MEASUREMENTS: At shortest, the base is 28 3/4" tall, not including the tabletop, and extends up to about 40 1/2" tall (again, excluding the current tabletop). The legs are about 21 1/2 apart at the feet. The current tabletop measures approximately 26 1/8" x 2 1/8". Carrier available to your zip code than what is listed first.
